Drainage Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Drainage Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and practical experience in drainage systems, ensuring efficient and effective solutions for various projects. This role requires hands\-on work, including the use of power tools and hand tools, as well as the ability to perform heavy lifting and assembly tasks.

Duties

• Conduct site assessments to determine drainage requirements and potential issues.


• Utilise power tools and hand tools for the assembly and installation of drainage components.


• Collaborate with other engineers and contractors to ensure project specifications are met.


• Carry out routine inspections and maintenance of existing drainage systems to prevent blockages or failures.


• Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and project timelines.


• Adhere to health and safety regulations while working on\-site.

Experience

• Proven experience in drainage engineering or a related field is essential.


• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.


• Experience in commercial driving is advantageous for transporting materials to various sites.


• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs.


• Drivers over 25yrs due to insurance with a clean licence

Pay: £38,500\.00\-£42,000\.00 per year
