Door Supervisor

Overview
We are seeking a professional and vigilant Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, a calm demeanour, and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills are essential. All positions are paid, including internship opportunities.

Duties

• Monitor entry and exit points to ensure only authorised individuals gain access


• Conduct surveillance using CCTV systems to identify suspicious activity or security breaches


• Perform regular patrols of the premises to deter theft, vandalism, or disorderly conduct


• Implement loss prevention strategies by observing customer behaviour and intervening when necessary


• Respond swiftly and appropriately to emergency situations, including administering first aid if required


• Enforce venue policies and procedures in a professional manner


• Record incidents accurately in incident reports and communicate effectively with team members and management


• Assist with crowd control during events or busy periods to maintain order and safety

Requirements

• Proven experience in surveillance, loss prevention, or security roles is advantageous.


• Valid first aid certification is highly desirable


• Excellent observational skills with the ability to identify potential risks quickly


• Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure


• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or unsociable hours as required


• A professional appearance and demeanour that reflects positively on the organisation


• Ability to pass relevant background checks and security vetting processes


• Hold a vaild SIA license

Mainly looking for someone to work Friday and Saturday evenings

Pay: £14\.00 per hour
