Door Engineer
The Role
As an Industrial Door Engineer, you will operate as a mobile technician servicing commercial clients within your designated territory. You will handle mechanical and electrical diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and rapid-response emergency repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and commission a varied range of products including roller shutters, sectional doors, high-speed doors, fire doors and sliding folding doors.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and electrical failures efficiently on site.
- Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance to ensure British Standards compliance.
- Provide excellent customer service, acting as a professional representative of our brand.
- Participate in a shared out-of-hours emergency standby rota.
What Our Client Is Looking For:
- Proven field experience working with industrial doors, loading bays, or automated gates.
- Strong mechanical skills with basic electrical competency.
- Valid UK Driving Licence (clean preferred).
