About the Role
KASE Care is looking for compassionate, reliable and enthusiastic Domiciliary Healthcare Assistants to support individuals living within their own homes across Canvey Island and the surrounding area.
Our aim is to support people to remain as independent as possible while receiving safe, respectful and person\-centred care within their own homes.
As this is a community\-based role involving travel between clients, being a driver with access to your own vehicle would be highly desirable. You must be able to travel reliably between client visits within the required timescales.
Key Responsibilities
Depending on the individual client's assessed needs, duties may include:
- Supporting clients with personal care, washing, bathing, dressing and grooming
- Continence care and toileting support
- Supporting mobility and safe transfers
- Moving and handling in accordance with individual care plans and risk assessments
- Medication support and administration, where trained and assessed as competent
- Meal preparation and support with nutrition and hydration
- Light domestic duties associated with the client's care
- Supporting clients with appointments and community activities
- Promoting independence, choice, dignity and wellbeing
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Monitoring and reporting changes in a client's health or wellbeing
- Following infection prevention and control procedures
- Accurately completing care notes and other required records
- Logging in and out of scheduled visits correctly
- Following safeguarding procedures and promptly escalating concerns
- Working in accordance with individual care plans, risk assessments and KASE Care policies

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle would be highly desirable due to the requirement to travel between clients.
Training \& Compliance
Successful applicants will be required to complete KASE Care's mandatory induction and training programme, and all relevant safer recruitment checks before commencing unsupervised duties.
An appropriate Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory pre\-employment checks will be required.
