We currently have a vacancy for a domestic/ kitchen assistant position to come and work with our great team.

Key Responsibilities \- Domestic
Carry out all cleaning duties as directed
Ensure the daily and deep clean schedules are adhered to.
To work alongside, and support your colleagues
Ensure all cleaning equipment is correctly and safely used and kept in a safe condition, reporting any defect to the Home Manager.
Comply with COSHH regulations
Ensure the correct use of PPE
Be sensitive to the privacy and individual needs of our residents
Ensure all necessary documentation is completed daily.
Ensure trolleys are restocked at the end of your shift and cleaning cupboards are left clean and tidy.
Key Responsibilities – Kitchen assistant
Prepare meals set out on the set menu
To undertake a range of tasks associated with food preparation
To work with the head cook with the baking of cakes for afternoon tea if necessary
To keep an accurate record, receiving, rotating, and inventory of products and regulatory
compliance.
To ensure that the kitchen cleaning rota is adhered to at all times and that the kitchen is
hygienically clean and the floor mopped when necessary
To assist the Head Cook with the ordering of supplies if requested to do \- Qualifications, skills and Experience
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Have good judgement, problem solving, and decision making skills
The ability to work flexible hours to meet the business needs
Effective time keeping and time management
Have a genuine interest for older people
The ability to work effectively within a team environment
\- Food and Hygiene training
\- HACCP level 2 desirable but not essential, training will be provided.

Pay: Up to £13\.45 per hour
