Job Opportunity: Qualified Gas Engineer (Full\-Time) – Energy Made Greener
Salary: £30,000 per year with increase as you progress (dependent on experience, with progression opportunities)
Location: Scotland (Company based in East Kilbride)

We support a wide range of domestic, commercial, and social housing clients across Scotland, providing reactive maintenance, planned servicing, full installations, and emergency call\-outs.

Our work is diverse – from gas boiler servicing and HIU maintenance to renewable technologies like heat pumps, solar PV, and battery storage. We take pride in our high standards, customer\-first approach, and supportive team environment.

We are now looking for a Qualified Gas Engineer to join our growing team. This role requires 1 \-2 years of practical experience in installation and fault finding competence, a passion for delivering excellent service, and the ambition to develop their career within a rapidly expanding company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, fault\-finding, and repairs on a range of domestic gas appliances and heating systems


• Support commercial and communal heating works, including HIUs and plant rooms (training provided if needed)


• Conduct boiler installations and system upgrades as part of a team


• Respond to emergency call\-outs as part of a shared rota


• Perform basic plumbing tasks, such as pipework alterations and minor leak repairs (desirable but not essential)


• Ensure compliance with Gas Safe regulations and company health \& safety policies


• Deliver a high level of customer service, keeping clients informed and ensuring minimal disruption


• Maintain accurate job sheets, reports, and digital records via our field management system

• Domestic ACS Gas Engineer qualification (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1\) – essential


• Minimum 1\-2 year of hands\-on experience in domestic gas work (Installation \& Fault Finding)


• Full UK driving license – essential


• Basic plumbing skills and G3 Qualifcation – desirable


• Additional heating or renewable qualifications– advantageous (training will be provided for career development)


• Ability to problem\-solve, work under pressure, and manage your workload effectively


• A positive, can\-do attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt

• Competitive salary: £30,000 per year (DOE, with potential to increase as you progress)
