Salary: £14\.00–£16\.00 per hour, depending on experience

About Lady Bay Pharmacy
Lady Bay Pharmacy is a well\-established independent community pharmacy with a strong focus on outstanding patient care, efficient dispensing and innovative health and wellness services.
We are looking for an experienced, confident and commercially minded Pharmacy Dispenser to join our friendly team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to take on greater responsibility and play an important role in the continued growth of the pharmacy.
The Role
You will help ensure the dispensary operates safely, accurately and efficiently while delivering an excellent experience to every patient.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Managing the day\-to\-day workflow of the dispensary
- Supporting and supervising other team members
- Helping the team meet daily dispensing and operational targets
- Managing stock levels, ordering and date checking
- Communicating confidently with patients, GP surgeries and other healthcare professionals
- Providing excellent healthcare advice and customer service
- Promoting the pharmacy’s private health and wellness services
- Supporting sales, product displays and promotional campaigns
- Helping create social media content to promote pharmacy services
- Resolving operational queries calmly and professionally
- Supporting the pharmacist with the smooth running and continued development of the pharmacy
The successful candidate will:
- Hold an NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or an equivalent recognised qualification
- Have proven experience working in a busy community pharmacy dispensary
- Be fast, accurate and organised when dispensing prescriptions
- Be confident communicating with patients face\-to\-face and over the telephone
- Have experience supervising, training or managing other team members
- Provide consistently high standards of customer service
- Have previous hospitality, retail or sales experience
- Be comfortable discussing and promoting pharmacy services
- Have a genuine interest in health, wellness and preventative care
- Have experience using social media for business or creating engaging content
- Be positive, reliable, proactive and able to take responsibility
- Be available to start within four weeks

- Weekend availability and participation in a Saturday rota may be required
