Accountabilities:

  • Provide executive oversight and strategic leadership across multiple FSP portfolios, therapeutic areas, strategic accounts, and global delivery organizations.

  • Develop and execute long-term portfolio strategies aligned with organizational growth, operational excellence, and client objectives.

  • Establish consistent delivery standards and drive performance across geographically distributed teams and portfolios.

  • Lead cross-functional transformation initiatives designed to improve operational effectiveness, quality, efficiency, and scalability.

  • Act as the senior operational point of contact for key FSP partnerships, building trusted relationships with executive-level client stakeholders.

  • Lead client governance forums, business reviews, strategic planning sessions, and executive-level discussions.

  • Influence client strategy and identify opportunities for innovation, expanded services, and long-term partnership growth.

  • Manage complex escalations, organizational risks, and critical delivery issues, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate executive communication.

  • Partner with Business Development teams on strategic opportunities, proposals, solution development, sales strategy, and account expansion.

  • Contribute to revenue growth, profitability, customer retention, and repeat business across the portfolio.

  • Lead Directors and senior oversight leaders across multiple programs, establishing clear expectations and accountability for performance.

  • Develop leadership pipelines, succession plans, coaching strategies, and talent development programs.

  • Champion organizational change and transformation initiatives while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, learning, and excellence.

  • Drive adoption of digital technologies, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled solutions to improve delivery quality, speed, and cost efficiency.

  • Monitor emerging industry trends, technologies, and capabilities and translate relevant developments into practical operating models.

  • Apply strong financial management practices across budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, and portfolio performance.

  • Use data, metrics, strategic analysis, and sound judgment to identify opportunities, manage risks, and drive sustainable business outcomes.

Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant academic or vocational qualification.

  • 12+ years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and directly related experience.

  • At least 5 years of management or senior leadership experience.

  • Strong executive leadership capabilities, including the ability to influence stakeholders and lead complex organizations through change.

  • Advanced understanding of global, regional, and national regulatory requirements relevant to clinical trials, including clinical trial authorization, licensing, lifecycle management, ICH guidelines, and related regulatory frameworks.

  • Broad knowledge of regulatory affairs and specialized areas such as preclinical, clinical, CMC, publishing, or comparable disciplines.

  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, statistical concepts, and relevant industry guidelines.

  • Excellent analytical, investigative, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.

  • Advanced financial acumen, including practical experience with budgeting, forecasting, resource management, and commercial performance.

  • Recognized executive presence with excellent consultation, presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain strategic customer relationships in complex, multinational environments.

  • Strong customer service and stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to influence internal and external decision-makers.

  • Excellent negotiation and commercial skills, with demonstrated ability to drive results and support business growth.

  • Strong judgment in escalation, risk management, decision-making, and complex problem resolution.

  • Solution-oriented mindset with a proven ability to drive innovation and translate strategy into execution.

  • Demonstrated experience coaching and developing senior leaders and teams, including managing challenging performance and development conversations.

  • Ability to identify and resolve training and capability gaps across technical and soft-skill areas.

  • Strong performance management capabilities, including the use of metrics to drive accountability, development, and retention.

  • Proven experience acting as a change champion and building high-performing, collaborative, and learning-oriented teams.

  • Ability to develop talent strategies and allocate resources according to individual capabilities, business priorities, and organizational needs.

  • Comfortable working independently and exercising sound judgment in complex regulatory and operational environments.

  • Willingness to work in environments that may include office, laboratory, or clinical settings and follow applicable health and safety requirements.
