Director of Revenue Management, UK

Growth, Consumer Proposition \| Senior Leadership

It starts with play.

At Merlin, we create extraordinary experiences that bring people together through play. But behind every visit, every ticket and every unforgettable guest experience is a commercial strategy designed to understand our guests, respond to demand and unlock sustainable growth.

We’re looking for a Director of Revenue Management, UK to lead our admissions revenue strategy across Merlin’s UK attractions and help shape how we optimise revenue across some of the country’s best\-known entertainment destinations.

Reporting to the VP of Revenue Management, you’ll lead our UK Revenue Management function, partnering closely with senior leaders across Go\-to\-Market, Consumer Proposition, Marketing, E\-Commerce, Trade, Operations and Finance.

This is much bigger than setting prices.

The opportunity

As Director of Revenue Management, you’ll be at the heart of how we drive commercial performance across our UK portfolio.

You’ll combine data, market insight and commercial instinct to understand what’s driving demand, identify opportunities for growth and turn complex information into clear, actionable revenue strategies.

You’ll act as a trusted commercial partner to our VP Go\-to\-Market, UK, bringing the revenue management perspective to key trading decisions and representing the region through weekly and monthly business reviews.

And while analytics will be fundamental, this role is equally about influence. You’ll build relationships across the business, challenge thinking, create alignment and give senior stakeholders the confidence to make informed commercial decisions.

You’ll lead across:

  • Revenue strategy \& trading – owning the regional approach to admissions revenue management and helping the UK outperform its financial and revenue objectives.

  • Pricing \& optimisation – using historical performance, demand patterns, market trends and competitor insight to continually evolve our pricing, promotional and channel strategies.

  • Growth \& innovation – identifying new revenue opportunities, testing new ideas and bringing an entrepreneurial mindset to how we optimise performance.

  • Commercial partnership – working hand in hand with Go\-to\-Market, Marketing, E\-Commerce, Trade, Consumer Proposition, Operations and Finance to turn insight into action.

  • Data \& insight – looking beyond the numbers to understand the story behind performance, identify emerging trends and course\-correct quickly when needed.

  • Product \& promotional launches – partnering across functions to ensure new propositions and campaigns are commercially optimised and successfully delivered.

  • Global collaboration – sharing insight and best practice with Revenue Management colleagues across Merlin and helping embed best\-in\-class approaches within the UK.

  • People \& leadership – leading and developing our UK Revenue Management team, creating an inclusive, collaborative and high\-performing environment where great people can grow.

Qualifications \& Experience
--------------------------------

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for an established revenue management or pricing leader with the commercial judgement, analytical capability and leadership presence to operate at senior level within a complex, fast\-moving organisation.

You’ll bring at least 10 years’ experience across revenue management, pricing or consultancy, ideally with experience within theme parks, travel, tourism or another dynamic, demand\-led consumer environment.

You’ll have a proven track record of developing high\-performing teams and using advanced analytics, forecasting and commercial insight to influence strategy and deliver measurable revenue outcomes.

You’ll be equally comfortable getting into the detail of performance as you are stepping back to see the bigger commercial picture – translating complex data into a compelling story and presenting recommendations confidently to senior executives.

A Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Business, Economics, Data Science or another quantitative discipline is essential. Experience in dynamic pricing, advanced analytics, forecasting or demand planning would be highly valuable, while a relevant Master’s degree would be advantageous.

Most importantly, you’ll bring a customer\-first mindset and a genuine appetite for growth. You’ll be curious enough to challenge assumptions, commercial enough to spot opportunities others may miss and collaborative enough to bring people with you.

Leadership at Merlin

How you lead matters just as much as what you deliver.

You’ll be soulfully curious – seeking out new knowledge, exploring different perspectives and staying open to new ideas.

You’ll be results focused – setting clear priorities, taking accountability and course\-correcting quickly to achieve the right outcomes.

You’ll be an extraordinary teammate – building trusted relationships, sharing knowledge and collaborating across functions, regions and teams.

And you’ll develop people – coaching your team, creating opportunities for growth and building the next generation of revenue management talent at Merlin.

Why this role matters

With attractions and destinations welcoming millions of guests, the decisions made by Revenue Management have a direct impact on how we grow, how we respond to our guests and how we deliver against our ambitions.

This is an opportunity to shape revenue strategy at scale – combining world\-class analytics with commercial creativity and helping our UK attractions make smarter, faster and more customer\-focused decisions.

You’ll influence how we trade today while helping build the revenue management capability we need for tomorrow.

Bring your expertise. Bring your curiosity. And help us unlock the next chapter of growth across Merlin’s UK attractions.

Because at Merlin, it starts with play.
