Job Summary
KF General Services Ltd is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Facilities Services to lead facilities operations, manage service delivery, and ensure safe, efficient, and well\-maintained environments for clients and internal teams. This role is ideal for a senior facilities leader with strong experience in facilities management, building services, maintenance operations, contractor management, and service improvement.
What You'll Do
- Lead facilities services, building maintenance, workplace support, and operational service delivery.
- Manage facilities teams, contractors, suppliers, service providers, and operational support staff.
- Oversee maintenance schedules, cleaning services, security support, health and safety compliance, and building operations.
- Develop service delivery strategies to improve efficiency, safety, cost control, and client satisfaction.
- Manage budgets, contracts, service agreements, procurement, and supplier performance.
- Monitor facilities KPIs, service standards, response times, compliance records, and operational risks.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, building standards, company policies, and environmental requirements.
- Support space planning, asset management, repairs, inspections, and workplace improvement projects.
- Work with senior leaders, clients, landlords, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve facilities issues.
- Prepare executive reports, operational plans, performance reviews, and strategic recommendations.
- Experience in facilities management, building services, property operations, maintenance management, workplace services, operations management, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous senior leadership, director\-level, or facilities management experience is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of facilities operations, health and safety, contractor management, building maintenance, compliance, and service delivery.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organisation, negotiation, and problem\-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple sites, teams, budgets, contractors, deadlines, and operational priorities.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, facilities management systems, CAFM software, reporting platforms, procurement systems, and project management tools.
- Strong commercial awareness with a practical approach to improving facilities services and operational efficiency.
- Relevant qualifications in Facilities Management, Building Services, Health and Safety, Property Management, or related disciplines are advantageous.
