Digital Trading Manager

The role

As Digital Trading Manager, you'll own on-site commercial performance for Livefoods Direct end to end — conversion, merchandising, product pages, content — and be the person turning the traffic we drive into revenue. It's a hands-on, high-ownership role: you'll set the SEO & CRO roadmap, not just execute someone else's.

What you'll do

• Own the CRO roadmap and testing programme on our WooCommerce platform


• Drive on-site SEO and search ranking for our priority keyword set


• Own merchandising — category structure, cross-sell and bundle setup, promotions


• Build and continuously improve product detail pages across our priority SKUs


• Manage website content end to end: creation, preparation and scheduling


• Report against clear commercial KPIs: conversion rate, average order value, organic revenue, keyword rankings and CRO test throughput

Essential:

• 3+ Years Hands-on experience running CRO and A/B testing programmes


• 3+ Years Hands-on WordPress / WooCommerce (or directly equivalent platform) experience


• Solid on-site SEO knowledge


• Experience setting up and optimising product detail pages


• UX optimisation


• Website content management and scheduling experience


• Able to be in our Harlow office Tuesday–Thursday

• Knowledge of live food, reptiles, exotics or the wider animal supplies industry

• A newly created role with real scope to shape it as the team and the division grow


• Up to £40,000, plus a hybrid working pattern (2 days remote, 3 days on-site)


• A seat close to the commercial decisions — you'll report directly into the Head of E-commerce
