Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and forward\-thinking Digital Solutions Manager to establish and lead our new Digital Dentistry division. This is a unique opportunity to build a department from the ground up, developing the company's digital strategy, implementing innovative technologies, and creating scalable solutions that support future growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for introducing, managing, and supporting a wide range of digital dental solutions, including digital imaging systems, intraoral scanners, intraoral X\-ray systems, phosphor plate scanners, OPG imaging equipment, digital cameras, CBCT imaging systems and associated software platforms. Working closely with senior leadership, sales teams, customers, and our manufacturing partners, this role will shape the future direction of the company's digital offering.

This position combines technical expertise, commercial awareness, project management, and leadership to establish a market\-leading digital dentistry service.

Key Responsibilities:

Department Development \& Strategy

  • Design and implement the company's digital dentistry strategy.

  • Establish the Digital Dentistry department, including processes, procedures, and service standards.

  • carry out installations, repairs, testing of digital dental equipment out in the field. (The frequency of this would decrease as team expands)
Digital Technology Management

Lead the implementation, support, and development of:

  • Digital imaging systems

  • Intraoral X\-ray equipment

  • Phosphor plate scanner systems

  • OPG imaging systems

  • Digital cameras

  • Intraoral scanners

  • CBCT imaging systems
Maintain relationships with manufacturers, software providers, and technology partners.

Assist with equipment demonstrations, installations, training, and ongoing customer support.

Technical Support \& Customer Success

  • Provide advanced technical support for digital imaging equipment and software to our customers

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Sales \& Business Development Support
  • Support the sales team with technical expertise during customer consultations.

  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations.

  • Support marketing initiatives, exhibitions, and educational events.
Training \& Education
  • Develop and train and support our internal field service engineers.

  • Act as the company's subject matter expert for digital dentistry technologies.
Leadership \& Growth
  • Recruit and develop future digital team members as the department expands.

  • Establish best practices and standard operating procedures.
Desirables:

Experience

  • experience within dental technology, dental imaging, or digital dentistry.

  • Experience implementing or supporting digital testing/ servicing processes

  • Experience with dental imaging systems, scanners, or laboratory workflows.

  • Experience building or developing new services, departments, or business functions is highly desirable.
Technical Knowledge

Strong understanding of:

  • x\-ray imaging systems, such as Intra oral x\-rays, OPGs, digital x\-ray scanners

  • Dental imaging softwares

  • Commercial awareness

Desirable Qualifications:
  • Manufacturer certifications on digital dental equipment.

Pay: £45,000\.00\-£50,000\.00 per year
