Digital Printer / Finisher / Graphic Designer
Busy central Bristol graphic design and print centre require a confident, versatile and capable individual to fulfil a combined graphic designer / printer / finisher and customer facing role.
Minuteman Press Bristol (MPB) create from concept to completion (or any stages in between e.g. design only, print only) diverse printed materials. MPB produce books, business cards, posters, logos, carbonless forms, flyers, menus, magazines and much more. All projects are different.
The MPB client base includes blue chip international businesses, sole traders, start\-ups and private individuals. We assist with marketing of many businesses, charities and individuals across the UK.
MPB offer in\-house design, printing (lithography, giclee and digital) and finishing; design and production working together.
Projects may be print ready or near print ready, or from initial concept; requiring less or more graphic design input accordingly.
The existing role we are offering involves working generally Monday – Friday, 0930hrs – 1730hrs (though hours can vary depending on projects); 20 days holiday plus statutory; £25\.500 per annum; statutory pension and free coffee.
We are seeking a confident outgoing individual with strong customer interactive skills (e.g. face\-to\-face, phone, email), keen eye for detail, highly organised, punctual attendance and project delivery, strong design skills (e.g. previous work, technical knowledge and software design packages). Trustworthy, dependable and diligent: goes without saying.
Ideally, the successful candidate will be keen to learn and continue to learn, be well organised, thrive under pressure, conscientious in maintaining presentation of the print centre.
