Digital Content & Marketing Executive
We're a small, fast\-moving business with two (completely unrelated) sides to it, and we're looking for a versatile, creative, and highly efficient Digital Content \& Marketing Executive to help us grow both. You'll start by focusing on our audiobook publishing arm, and as our pet products brand launches, you'll increasingly lead the content and marketing behind it.
This is a genuinely hands\-on role for someone who loves producing great content and can do so quickly, has a real instinct for what makes people stop scrolling, and is as comfortable researching a market as they are designing something on Canva (or Photshop) or cutting a video on Capcut (or Premiere). You'll work closely with our marketing manager and a network of freelance creators.
What you'll do
In the near term, your focus will be our audiobook business:
- Research top\-performing titles and use keyword and market research to spot opportunities for new audiobooks
- Develop concepts and clear briefs, then delegate them to freelance content creators (and possibly create some yourself using our detailed SOP's), keeping in regular, clear contact so everything runs smoothly and on time
- Design audiobook covers and graphics in Canva or Photoshop — efficiently, while keeping the quality high
- Track each book's production and performance in Excel, and use the data to guide what we make next
- Spot standout performers and arrange professional human narration for them
- Manage our social channels (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and more) — planning content, and either creating it yourself (for simple videos like showing off the products) or briefing creators (for more complicated videos including UGC)
- Edit images and video using tools such as Canva/Photoshop and CapCut/Premiere
- Shoot light content yourself on your phone where needed, write scripts (utilizing AI to work faster), and publish across platforms
- Plan and run paid social campaigns across Facebook, TikTok and Instagram alongside our marketing manager — promoting our best organic posts to ads, switching off what isn't working, and scaling what is
- Respond to customer enquiries across social media and email
- Solid experience in content creation and social media, with a real feel for what audiences engage with — and a broad sense of what consumers are interested in
- Confident with Canva, or Photoshop instead/as well, plus a video editing tool of your choice (Premiere, CapCut, or similar)
- Able to produce appealing content *fast*: you understand that consistency and volume matter, and you know how to work smart to deliver both quality and quantity
- Comfortable with research, and good at turning findings into workable ideas
- Fairly competent with Excel for simple tracking and basic analysis
- Organised and a clear communicator — you'll be coordinating freelancers and need to keep things tight
- Self\-motivated and reliable (essential in a remote role)
- Experience with paid social / performance marketing
- Familiarity with using AI tools to speed up content and copywriting
- An interest in books/audio and/or pets
We value momentum. We'd rather ship a steady stream of strong content than agonise over a handful of "perfect" pieces — so we're after someone smart and efficient who can deliver good work, and plenty of it, at pace.
