Accountabilities

  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, investigate incidents, and drive timely resolution while maintaining clear technical documentation.

  • Configure and improve monitoring and incident-management processes in collaboration with monitoring specialists and other technical teams.

  • Design and implement backup strategies that strengthen infrastructure resilience and support business continuity.

  • Develop and maintain automated deployment processes and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to improve consistency, scalability, and operational efficiency.

  • Build effective communication and collaboration between departments to enable automated monitoring of critical core services.

  • Review and validate the accuracy and quality of data presented in Grafana dashboards, identifying discrepancies and supporting continuous improvements.

  • Administer VMware infrastructure, including testing new vendor implementations and enhancing existing solutions.

  • Contribute to technical standards, documentation, automation initiatives, and infrastructure optimization projects.

Requirements


  • Strong knowledge of system administration, particularly Red Hat and Oracle Linux environments.

  • Hands-on experience with Docker and advanced knowledge of Kubernetes.

  • Practical experience with CI/CD tools and automated software delivery processes.

  • Experience using Ansible for configuration management and automation.

  • Proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.

  • Advanced Git skills and experience working effectively with version-controlled infrastructure and configuration.

  • Strong monitoring expertise and an understanding of infrastructure observability and operational health.

  • Experience working with VMware products and virtualized infrastructure environments.

  • Ability to write scripts and develop automation solutions using appropriate programming or scripting languages.

  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical teams.
