  • Build and maintain detailed requirements matrices covering data types, system interfaces, processing frequencies, dependencies, and downstream consumers.

  • Own scope tracking and MVP boundary management, documenting agreed scope and ensuring changes are captured through appropriate change-control processes.

  • Maintain business glossaries, metadata standards, data governance documentation, and other artifacts in collaboration with architects and data leads.

  • Coordinate across concurrent workstreams to ensure data contracts, canonical definitions, and architectural decisions remain consistent.

  • Facilitate technical feasibility discussions, track open questions and dependencies, and proactively escalate risks and unresolved issues.

  • Translate complex architecture and technology concepts into clear requirements, functional specifications, interaction models, and other stakeholder-ready documentation.

  • Support program leadership with decision logs, action trackers, risk registers, stakeholder communications, and delivery coordination.

  • Produce high-quality client-facing deliverables, including requirements documents, workshop summaries, dependency logs, and scope-management records.

  • Assist with light project management activities such as milestone tracking, status reporting, action-item management, and cross-team dependency coordination.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline; an advanced degree is preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or Requirements Analyst working on data, analytics, technology, or platform engagements, ideally within consulting or professional services.

  • Demonstrated experience facilitating structured discovery workshops with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and converting discussions into clear, actionable requirements.

  • Strong understanding of data platform and cloud architecture concepts, including data governance, metadata management, data quality, and lakehouse patterns.

  • Experience with AWS data environments is preferred, particularly familiarity with services such as S3, Glue, Redshift, DataZone, and Lake Formation; hands-on implementation is not required.

  • Experience with light project management activities, including milestone tracking, status reporting, action-item management, risk tracking, and dependency coordination.

  • Excellent written communication skills and the ability to create structured, client-ready requirements documents, functional specifications, scope logs, and workshop summaries.

  • Strong organizational and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to maintain context and continuity across multiple concurrent technical workstreams.

  • Ability to act as an effective information bridge between technical teams working on related but distinct problems.

  • Comfortable working in early-stage architecture, planning, and discovery engagements where the focus is on requirements and planning artifacts rather than production implementation.

  • Familiarity with emerging technologies such as edge computing, IoT, or AI/ML is a plus.

  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and the confidence to identify risks, clarify ambiguity, and keep complex engagements moving forward.
