Going\-there Global Destination Services, a relocation company based in London with a fast growing network of operations in more than 100 cities around the world, is looking for a Destination Services Coordinator in the Leeds area. We offer a service you might wish you had received, when you relocated there.

This is a freelance, project\-based (occasional work), or "gig work," role. Some availability M\-F during business hours is required. It is a flexible agreement, not a full\-time or part\-time employment position. The coordinator works with assignees for 1\-5 day packages (the days do NOT run concurrently). You must have a car and be able to drive in the area and have been living there for more than one year. The ability to cover the Leeds area is required.

This is a partially remote role, with some of the work being done from a home office (or anywhere with an internet connection), and some work being done in person with the client around the Leeds area.

Desired Skills \& Expertise:\*\* Being a Destination Coordinator: You will help newly arriving expats and their families settle in to their new lives in the area. You will assist with topics such as pre\-arrival assistance, home\-finding and school searching. Helping them get connected in to the area with the least possible disruption. Making an often anxious assignee and their family feel at home. Putting a friendly face on a foreign place. To make an excellent Destination Coordinator, you need a good knowledge of the area and some knowledge of the local rental market. Previous work in the relocation industry is preferable.

This role is best described as occasional project work. It is a good fit for someone who likes that sort of work style, but is not a good fit for someone who needs consistent work hours.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualities: be on\-time regardless of traffic or other barriers, able to formulate a concise plan regardless of limited info provided, and have a direct approach in communication style.

A professional demeanour is an important part of the role, as our consultants often work with executives who are relocating to the Leeds area.

We like to work with people who are personable, responsible, savvy, with good people and communication skills. Excellent English skills, both oral and written, is essential.

Some international exposure (such as international travel, study abroad experience, etc.) is preferred, with a strong preference to candidates who have lived abroad and relocated across international borders. Please include any international experience in your resume or cover letter.
