About the Role
We are looking for a creative, driven, and commercially minded Design \& Marketing Executive to join our growing team. This is a varied and hands\-on role that combines graphic design, digital marketing, website management, and brand development across multiple businesses within our group.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving growth, increasing brand awareness, improving customer engagement, and developing innovative marketing strategies that support all areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing \& Customer Engagement
- Plan, create, and manage email marketing campaigns and SMS marketing alerts.
- Develop and execute social media marketing strategies across multiple platforms.
- Create engaging content for websites, social media, email campaigns, and promotional activities.
- Grow and maintain customer databases while ensuring compliance with GDPR regulations.
- Develop targeted marketing campaigns for both B2B and B2C audiences.
- Analyse customer engagement and campaign performance, identifying opportunities to improve results and increase customer retention.
- Design marketing materials using Canva and other design tools.
- Create digital and print assets including flyers, brochures, advertisements, signage, and promotional materials.
- Creation of PowerPoint Presentations.
- Ensure brand consistency across all businesses within the group.
- Continually generate fresh and innovative marketing ideas to increase brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales.
- Research industry trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and marketing approaches, including weekly reporting.
- Manage and develop websites using Wix.
- Regularly update website content, imagery, promotions, blogs and landing pages.
- Drive ecommerce growth through improved user experience, conversion optimisation, and new online sales initiatives.
- Identify and implement innovative website features, functionality, and customer engagement tools.
- Proactively recommend and deliver new ideas to improve website performance, customer journeys, and online revenue generation.
- Monitor website analytics and provide recommendations for ongoing improvements.
- Support the day\-to\-day management of retail systems, including operation and administration of the Square till and point\-of\-sale platform.
- Develop shop front displays, POS materials, and in\-store promotional concepts.
- Create engaging customer experiences that encourage repeat business and increase sales.
- Assist with promotional events, launches, and seasonal campaigns.
- Work across multiple brands and business divisions, supporting the growth of the entire business portfolio.
- Develop marketing strategies and campaigns targeting both business customers (B2B) and consumers (B2C).
- Identify opportunities to expand customer reach, increase database growth, and improve customer lifetime value.
- Collaborate with management to develop new business opportunities, promotional initiatives, and growth strategies.
- Bring forward creative ideas and practical solutions that contribute to increased sales, customer acquisition, and brand development.
- Marketing qualification (Degree, Diploma, CIM qualification, or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years' proven experience in a marketing role.
- Strong experience with email marketing platforms and campaign management.
- Experience managing social media accounts and creating content.
- Proficiency in Canva and digital design.
- Experience managing and developing websites using Wix.
- Understanding of ecommerce principles and online sales growth.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and brands simultaneously.
- Creative mindset with a proactive approach to problem\-solving and business development.
- Knowledge of SEO and website optimisation.
- Experience with paid social advertising and Google Ads.
- Experience using CRM and marketing automation systems.
- Understanding of analytics and performance reporting.
