Design & Development Engineer – Graduate Role

Reporting to the R\&D manager, this job role will require the candidate to have a thorough understanding of engineering disciplines and have experience in design ideation, CAD and physical prototyping. Individual project management will be key, as will an ability to think quick on your feet when tasked with problems to solve.

As a design and development engineer, you’ll handle these tasks:

\- Overseeing the progression of development projects, either internally or working with existing and new clients

\- Completing product and material testing, writing technical reports with an unrivalled attention to detail

\- Problem solving over a range of scenarios within established and new production processes

\- Assisting other departments in the completion of projects and orders, offering your expertise and guidance where required

Role profile

This is an entry level, full time, office\-based position for a design \& development engineer to join our ever\-growing team.

Monday – Thursday: 08:00 to 16:25

Friday: 08:00 to 13:00

Qualifications

Degree in a design discipline such as mechanical engineering, product design or similar related subject.
