We’re opening a new children’s home in Rugby, Warwickshire, and we’re looking for compassionate, resilient adults to join our team. Our home provides a nurturing, therapeutic environment for children aged 7–17, where safety, connection and emotional growth are at the heart of everything we do.
We’re recruiting for a Deputy Manager, Senior Residential Support Workers, Residential Support Workers and Bank Residential Support Workers. Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised care plans tailored to individual needs, ensuring the well\-being and safety of children and young people
- Support with daily routines, education, leisure activities, and behavioural management
- Foster positive relationships through effective communication and empathetic support
- Assist with organising activities that promote social skills, independence, and personal growth
- Maintain accurate records of progress, incidents, and care interventions in line with organisational policies
- Drive company vehicles as required for outings or appointments, ensuring compliance with road safety regulations
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals to deliver consistent support
- Uphold safeguarding procedures at all times to ensure the safety of all individuals under your care
- Previous experience working with children or within a childcare or social care environment is highly desirable
- Knowledge of child development and behavioural management techniques
- Experience in creating and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with children, families, colleagues, and external agencies
- IT proficiency for maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Driving experience with a valid licence is preferred but not essential
Pay: £13\.00\-£16\.00 per hour
