Deputy General Manager – Country Inn, Marlborough
Role Overview
We’re looking for an energetic, hands\-on Deputy General Manager to lead our brand\-new Country Inn. You’ll oversee the day\-to\-day running of the Inn, ensuring every guest and team member enjoys an exceptional experience. This is a rare chance to shape a property from day one and make a real impact on a growing, founder\-led hospitality group.
The position comes with a high level of autonomy and opportunity, as we are looking for the successful applicant to succeed the General Manager once ready to take the reins.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire, and support a diverse team across all areas of the Inn
- Oversee operations, including front\-of\-house service, food production, and safety standards
- Ensure guests receive outstanding experiences at every touchpoint
- Develop and implement operational policies to maintain high standards and smooth service
- Manage budgets, inventory, and financial performance
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and licensing requirements
- Act as a visible presence, engaging with guests and mentoring your team
- Proven leadership experience in hotels, restaurants, or boutique inns
- Passionate about delivering memorable experiences and leading by example
- Knowledgeable in food safety, service excellence, and operational management
- Strong communicator, organiser, and problem\-solver who thrives under pressure
- Motivated to innovate while respecting traditional hospitality values

Job Type: Full\-time
Pay: Up to £35,000\.00 per year
