Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Deputy Finance Manager to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting financial management, planning, and reporting activities across the organisation. Duties
- Assist in overseeing the organisation’s financial management, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations
- Support the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets with accuracy and timeliness
- Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record\-keeping
- Contribute to financial planning activities, including forecasting, cost control, and analysing variances
- Lead initiatives to improve financial processes and optimise resource utilisation
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop financial strategies aligned with organisational goals
- Supervise junior finance staff, providing guidance and mentorship to foster professional development
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements during all financial operations
- Proven expertise in financial management and accounting principles
- Strong understanding of financial services industry standards and practices
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
- Proficiency in financial planning, analysis, and reporting tools
- Experience in managing accounts payable processes and implementing cost control measures
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Effective communication skills for liaising with stakeholders at all levels
Pay: £51,657\.00\-£58,785\.00 per year
