We are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Deputy Branch Manager to support the Branch Manager in leading a high\-performing sales operation. This role is focused on driving revenue growth, developing customer relationships, maximising account performance, and inspiring a successful sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Branch Manager in delivering branch sales growth, profitability, and overall business performance.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Managers to maximise sales opportunities, increase customer spend, and grow market share.
- Drive customer account development through proactive relationship management, identifying new business opportunities, and strengthening existing partnerships.
- Monitor sales performance, set clear objectives, and motivate the team to consistently achieve and exceed targets.
- Take a proactive role in the day\-to\-day operational management of the branch, ensuring efficient processes that support commercial success.
- Work closely with suppliers to support branch\-level agreements, promotions, and growth initiatives.
- Resolve customer issues and escalations quickly and professionally, turning challenges into opportunities to strengthen customer loyalty and retention.
- Collaborate with the sales team to deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring customers receive expert support and value\-added solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve branch performance, increase customer engagement, and drive continuous business growth.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members, helping to build a motivated and results\-focused sales culture.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a sales leadership, account management, or operational management role. You will be commercially aware, target\-driven, and passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences while achieving business objectives.
