Dental Therapist

Due to a colleague leaving , we are looking for a GDC registered dental therapist to join our mixed NHS/private practice.

You will be joining our 5 surgery practice and be exposed to patients with a variety of dental needs. You will be in one of our newly renovated dental surgeries

Fully computerised with a heavy emphasis on prevention.

Chairside support available

One day available on Tuesdays and must have excellent communication skills.

*The hours of work would be:*

9am \- 5pm Wednesdays

A start date is negotiable for the right candidate.

You are passionate about dentistry and have a commitment to providing excellent clinical care to our patients.

You are an excellent communicator and understand that a fantastic patient experience is as important as the clinical care provided. You enjoy spending time with your patients and motivating them.

You are focused on prevention and believe that educating and empowering patients is equally as important as the clinical experience. You empathise with your patients and understand that some need more TLC than others.

You enjoy working as part of a team.

You are confident in administering local anaesthetic, taking impressions, teeth whitening and discussing restorative/cosmetic work or, are willing to learn.

You are experienced with caring for patients with severe periodontal disease.

You understand how to care for nervous/anxious patients.

You are able to be both thorough and gentle with your hygiene care of your patients

Pay: £35\.00\-£40\.00 per hour
