Key Responsibilities:
· Fabricate a wide range of dental prosthetics, including crowns, bridges, veneers, and implant restorations
· Accurately interpret dental prescriptions and specifications from dentists
· Match patient's natural teeth to colour guides and create lifelike restorations
· Perform ceramic build\-ups for single to full arch cases
· Apply advanced techniques in layering, staining, and glazing
· Utilise various materials, including porcelain, acrylic, and zirconia
· Collaborate with dental technicians and dentists to ensure proper fit and aesthetics
· Maintain strict quality control procedures and attention to detail
· Stay current with the latest advancements in dental ceramics and materials
Qualifications and Skills
· Minimum of 3 years of experience as a dental ceramist, with a proven track record of excellence
· Advanced knowledge of dental anatomy, occlusion, and aesthetics
· Proficiency in all aspects of ceramic work, including implant cases, smile design, and veneers
· Strong artistic aptitude and colour\-matching abilities
· Experience with CAD/CAM technology is preferred
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast\-paced environment
Education and Certification
Foundation Degree in Dental Laboratory Technology preferred
Certified Dental Technician (CDT) certification is highly desirable
Compensation and Benefits
Salary: £40,000 \- £50,000 per year depending on experience
