Responsibilities
- Welcome patients with a friendly smile and assist them with a smooth check\-in and check\-out experience.
- Schedule and manage appointments using dental practice management software while balancing patient needs and clinician availability.
- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, providing helpful information and directing enquiries appropriately.
- Maintain accurate patient records, update personal information, and manage appointment calendars.
- Process payments and assist with billing accurately and discreetly.
- Keep the reception area tidy, organized, and inviting for patients and visitors.
- Work closely with the dental team to coordinate patient flow and support efficient daily operations.
- Previous reception, office, or administrative experience is preferred, although training may be provided for the right candidate.
- Excellent communication skills and a warm, professional manner that helps patients feel at ease.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a busy practice environment.
- Confidence using office software; experience with dental practice management systems is an advantage.
- The ability to handle confidential patient information with discretion and professionalism.
- A proactive, dependable attitude and an eagerness to learn and grow within the dental field.
