Dental Nurse/ Trainee

As a Dental Nurse, you will be responsible for assisting during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining an organised and efficient clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared and ready for use.


• Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients and addressing their concerns before, during, and after treatments.


• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with practice protocols.


• Ensure the cleanliness and sterilisation of dental instruments and equipment following health and safety regulations.


• Manage appointment schedules efficiently, coordinating with patients to ensure timely visits.


• Communicate effectively with both patients and team members to foster a positive working environment.


• Participate in continuous professional development to stay updated with the latest dental practices and technologies.

Qualifications

• Relevant nursing qualification or certification as a Dental Nurse is essential.


• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively within a busy practice environment.


• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact confidently with patients and colleagues.


• A background in IT is beneficial for managing patient records and scheduling systems.


• A genuine passion for patient care with a focus on providing high\-quality service.


• Previous experience in a dental setting is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
