Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dental team, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. This position requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a solid understanding of IT systems to manage patient records and appointments efficiently.
Duties
- Assist dental professionals during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilising instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available.
- Maintain accurate patient records using practice management software.
- Provide excellent patient care by answering questions, offering support, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the practice.
- Collaborate with the dental team to enhance workflow and improve patient experiences.
- Participate in continuous professional development to stay updated with industry standards and practices.
- Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is required.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and colleagues professionally.
- Proficiency in IT systems for managing patient information and scheduling appointments.
- A caring attitude towards patients with a focus on delivering high\-quality care.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in dental nursing are necessary for this role.
