Dental Nurse/ Receptionist

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Nurse/Receptionist to join our dental practice. Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and ensure they feel comfortable during their visit


• Assist the dental team with chairside support during procedures


• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise equipment in accordance with health and safety standards


• Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and rescheduling efficiently


• Handle patient records accurately using Dentally IT systems


• Provide clear information to patients regarding treatments and post\-care instructions


• Answer phone calls, respond to enquiries, and manage correspondence professionally


• Maintain a clean and organised reception area at all times


• Support administrative tasks such as billing, invoicing, and processing payments


• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and health regulations

Experience

• Previous experience in a dental or healthcare environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates


• Strong patient care skills with a friendly and empathetic manner


• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, for effective communication with patients and team members


• Basic IT skills for managing patient records and appointment systems


• Excellent organisational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently


• Good communication skills to liaise effectively with patients and colleagues


• Knowledge of nursing principles is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
