Duties

• Assist dentists during clinical procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety


• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise dental instruments in accordance with health and safety standards


• Greet patients warmly, schedule appointments, and manage the reception desk efficiently


• Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems and update details as necessary


• Manage telephone enquiries professionally, providing information and booking appointments as required


• Handle administrative tasks such as filing, billing, and processing payments


• Ensure the practice complies with health regulations and maintains a clean, organised environment

• Proven experience in patient care within a dental or healthcare setting is desirable


• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written


• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively


• Good IT literacy, including familiarity with dental practice management software


• Ability to work well within a team and build rapport with patients of all ages


• Professional attitude with attention to detail and a caring approach towards patients
