Dental Nurse
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our successful and growing dental practice. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about patient care and looking to develop their career within dental healthcare, with a start date of September 1st 2026 or sooner.
This is a busy 3 surgery practice located in walsall, we offer both NHS and Private Dentistry; focusing on a great patient journey. We offer many treatments including clear aligners, composite bonding, full smile designs and incorporate an almost fully digital workflow\-scanning experience is a bonus (full training with intra oral scanners will be given). Currently using 'Dentally' software system, experience with this preferred but not essential.
We are looking for a qualified Dental Nurse (or enthusiastic trainee) who is passionate about delivering excellent patient care at all times, working with the team to make sure that the Dentist is fully supported to deliver quality treatment and patients have the best experience during their treatment.
The qualities we are looking for include: willing to learn more and upskill within dentistry, Adaptable and flexible, enthusiastic, motivated, self driven, strong working ethic, reliable team player, "Can do" attitude.

Duties
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring smooth workflow and patient comfort
- Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials prior to appointments
- Provide high\-quality patient care, including explaining procedures and post\-treatment instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems and ensure confidentiality at all times
- Sterilise and disinfect dental instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety standards
- Support patients throughout their visit, offering reassurance and addressing any concerns
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently, demonstrating strong organisational skills
- Ensure the clinical environment adheres to infection control protocols at all times
- Previous experience as a dental nurse essential or currently training to become dental nurse
- Good command of English, both written and verbal, for effective communication with patients and team members
- Strong IT skills to manage digital records and appointment systems accurately
- Excellent communication skills to build rapport with patients and colleagues
- Organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy clinical setting
- Ability to work as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
Pay: £12\.21\-£14\.00 per hour
