Duties

  • Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize equipment, and ensure all dental tools are ready for use to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety

  • Assist dentists during examinations, treatments, and procedures by handing instruments and managing patient comfort

  • Provide compassionate patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and addressing concerns with clarity and professionalism

  • Manage patient records accurately using IT systems, ensuring all information is up\-to\-date and confidential

  • Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, sending reminders, and maintaining organized patient files

  • Monitor patient well\-being during visits, observing for any signs of discomfort or adverse reactions and responding appropriately

  • Communicate effectively with patients in clear English to foster trust and understanding throughout their dental experience
Experience
  • Previous experience working as a Dental Nurse or in a similar healthcare support role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate

  • Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy, reassurance, and professionalism

  • Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with diverse patient groups and team members

  • Basic IT proficiency to navigate electronic health records and appointment scheduling systems efficiently

  • Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple tasks seamlessly in a fast\-paced environment

  • Knowledge of nursing principles related to dental care is advantageous but not mandatory; relevant certifications or qualifications are welcomed
