Highgrove Dental Care is a well established, family run three surgery dental practice located close to Central Reading.
Following a recent renovation and expansion, we are looking to welcome two enthusiastic and reliable Qualified Dental Nurses to our friendly team.
The positions are part time, working approximately 2 to 3 days per week, with flexibility around the days worked. We are particularly looking to strengthen our Wednesday nursing cover, alongside our regular Monday to Thursday requirements and occasional Friday cover. We are happy to discuss different combinations of days with the successful candidates.
Our normal working hours are 8am to 4pm.
About Us
We are a well established, family run dental practice providing primarily private dental care. We offer a wide range of general and specialist dental treatments, including Invisalign, implants, endodontics, cosmetic dentistry and hygienist services.
The practice has recently undergone a complete renovation, including a brand new surgery, reception area and staff room. We are fully computerised and equipped with digital X rays and an iTero scanner.
We pride ourselves on providing a relaxed, friendly environment where our team can enjoy coming to work, develop their skills and provide excellent patient care.
The Role
You will work closely with our dentists and hygienists to provide excellent patient care and ensure the smooth running of the surgery.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting dentists and hygienists with all clinical aspects of surgery
- Ensuring patients are treated safely, comfortably and with a high standard of care
- Maintaining excellent cross infection control standards
- Preparing and maintaining surgery equipment, instruments and materials
- Maintaining accurate clinical records
- Assisting with reception duties and general practice administration
- Working as part of a friendly and supportive team
We are looking for a qualified dental nurse who is:
- Enthusiastic, friendly and approachable
- Reliable and committed to regular attendance
- Well organised and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Confident communicating with patients and colleagues
- Comfortable using computers and dental practice software
- Committed to maintaining high standards of patient care and cross infection control
