Dental Hygienist / Dental Therapist (Monday–Thursday)

Regency House Dental Practice – Cheltenham

Employed Position

Regency House Dental Practice is a long\-established, fully private dental practice located in the heart of Cheltenham. Having cared for patients for over 30 years, we have built a loyal and discerning patient base that values high\-quality, preventative dentistry. We provide a comprehensive range of treatments including hygiene care, orthodontics, implants and cosmetic dentistry.

We are looking for a Dental Hygienist or Dental Therapist to join our friendly team four days per week (Monday to Thursday).

The position will become available from the end of October 2026, making it an ideal opportunity for someone planning their next career move or working through an existing notice period.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for more than simply a clinical position. We are looking for a clinician who wants to become part of our practice philosophy, grow within the role and build long\-term relationships with both patients and colleagues.

Our practice has an established culture centred around prevention rather than treatment. We are fortunate to care for a long\-standing patient base with an exceptionally high standard of oral health, allowing our hygienists to spend their time educating, motivating and helping patients maintain their oral health for the long term.

We are equally happy to hear from newly qualified hygienists or therapists as we are from experienced clinicians. We believe attitude, enthusiasm and a genuine desire to develop are every bit as important as experience.

In fact, the hygienist you will be replacing joined us immediately after qualifying. Over the past eight years she has developed into an exceptional clinician and has become a hugely valued member of our team. She is only leaving because she is relocating back to her childhood home overseas—a decision we completely understand, although we will be very sorry to see her go. We would love to offer the same opportunity to someone looking for a practice where they can enjoy coming to work and build a long\-term career.

The ideal applicant will be:

  • GDC registered as a Dental Hygienist or Dental Therapist.

  • Passionate about preventative dentistry and patient education.

  • Caring, empathetic and naturally able to build rapport with patients.

  • Conscientious, organised and reliable.

  • Positive, enthusiastic and keen to continue developing professionally.

  • Someone who enjoys working collaboratively as part of a close\-knit team.

  • Looking for a practice they can genuinely become part of for many years.
The role

You will provide high\-quality preventative care and periodontal treatment within a fully private practice where patients value and appreciate excellent dental hygiene.

Working alongside our dentists and nursing team, you will have the opportunity to develop strong relationships with your patients while helping them maintain excellent oral health through education, prevention and personalised care.

What we offer
  • Four\-day working week (Monday to Thursday).

  • Competitive rates of pay.

  • As an employed position, you will have paid holidays, entitlement to SSP and maternity leave etc.

  • A supportive, friendly and highly experienced clinical team.

  • A loyal, long\-standing private patient base.

  • A practice philosophy centred around prevention and exceptional patient care.

  • Modern facilities with continual investment in equipment and technology.

  • Ongoing support and encouragement for professional development.

  • Occupational pension scheme (NEST).

  • Cycle to Work scheme.

  • Uniform provided.

  • Parking permit provided for the successful candidate, enabling convenient parking close to the practice.

  • An inclusive, fair and caring working environment.
