\*Specialist Orthodontic Practice in Purley, South London\*

\*2x Wednesdays Per Month, building into every Wednesday\*

Dental Beauty Partners are excited to be opening a search for an experienced and qualified Dental Hygienist to join us here in our Orthodontic division at Dental Beauty Partners. This is a lovely specialist practice led by our Partner Dr. Tim McDonogh and is in great location close to Purley train station.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an experienced clinical team in delivering a high quality treatment journey to our patients. We are looking for a dedicated \& forward\-thinking hygienist who is able to build long term relationships with patients. You will have access to high quality equipment and materials, and work within a supportive environment in a fresh and modern surgery.

Hours:

*Initially 2 Wednesdays Per Month (9AM\-5PM), with a plan to move into every Wednesday*

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out a high\-quality dental hygiene treatment under the prescription of an Associate/Specialist in line with current legislation and regulations


• Offering a variety of treatment within your scope of practice, including air flow


• Following practice policies \& procedures at all times in line with GDC guidelines


• Ensure that the required professional indemnity and insurance are in place and that all necessary CPD is undertaken


• Promote, establish and maintain productive working relationships with all members of the dental team


• Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Valid GDC registration – ideally with 2 years’ experience working as a hygienist in the UK


• The successful candidate must be able to work independently without chairside nursing support as we are unable to provide this


• Valid Immunisations (Hep B)


• Clear DBS certificate (we can support with this if required) \& full indemnity cover


• Able to deliver a fantastic patient journey \& ensure our patients have a positive experience in practice


• Experience in offering advanced treatments such as airflow \& GBT are also desirable
