Due to increasing patient demand, we are looking for a friendly, caring and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our busy and expanding practice on Saturdays.
This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who is passionate about patient care, enjoys building long\-term relationships, and is committed to promoting excellent oral health.
About the Role
As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a key role in helping our patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health. We are looking for someone who provides gentle, high\-quality care and can make patients feel comfortable and at ease throughout their visit.
You will work closely with our dentists, nurses and reception team to deliver an outstanding patient experience and contribute positively to the continued growth and reputation of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional dental hygiene treatments and preventative care.
- Deliver personalised oral hygiene advice and education to patients.
- Build strong rapport with patients and help nervous patients feel relaxed and supported.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records and treatment notes.
- Work collaboratively with the wider practice team.
- Promote oral health awareness and preventative dentistry.
- Identify and discuss treatment needs with patients and support referrals where appropriate.
- Maintain high standards of cross\-infection control and clinical governance.
- Act as a positive ambassador for the practice and its values.
The ideal candidate will be:
- GDC registered with appropriate indemnity cover.
- Friendly, approachable and professional.
- Gentle and patient\-focused in their clinical approach.
- Passionate about preventative dentistry and oral health education.
- Confident in managing their own clinical records and note taking.
- An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
