Dental Hygienist / Dental Therapist (NHS and Private Practice)

This is role is for either one of our sites.

Lepton Dental Surgery (HD8 0HB)
Part\-time \- 1 day per week
Start date: Flexible

Lepton Dental Surgery is a NHS and private, modern dental practice located in the heart of Huddersfield. We provide high\-quality general and specialist dental care, including advanced cosmetic, implant, periodontal, and digital dentistry.

Our philosophy is centred around exceptional patient care, quality\-driven dentistry, and a supportive team culture. We are expanding and now seeking a Dental Hygienist or Dental Therapist to take over an existing, well\-maintained patient list.

The Role

We are recruiting a motivated Dental Hygienist or Dental Therapist to work 1 day per week, with available sessions on Friday 9am\-4pm or Monday 2pm\-5pm.

We provide EMS Airflow Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBDT) and offer a full range of advanced treatments including implants, Invisalign, composite bonding, periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and digital dentistry.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high\-quality hygiene and/or therapy services to Private patients


• Support patients with preventive care and oral health education


• Maintain accurate clinical notes and adhere to CQC/GDC standards


• Work collaboratively with dentists, specialists, and support staff


• Uphold the practice’s reputation for outstanding patient experience

Requirements

• GDC registration as a Dental Hygienist or Dental Therapist


• Excellent communication and patient care skills


• Strong clinical standards and commitment to quality


• Experience in NHS and private practice beneficial but not essential


• Positive attitude and ability to work independently


• Willingness to align with our practice ethos and standards

Job Details

• Job type: Part\-time


• Schedule: Friday or Monday half day


• Start date: June 2026 onwards

• Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience (hourly or self\-employed)
