The Role

Are you a strong communicator looking to launch your career in a fast\-growing international events business where hard work is rewarded, progression is clear, and earning potential is uncapped?

We're looking for a Graduate Delegate Sales and Marketing Communications Executive to join our Bristol\-based team at Fortem International, a leading independent trade exhibition organiser operating across international markets.

This is a structured entry point, not a dead\-end job. Many of our senior leaders started exactly where you're starting. We promote from within, and this role is designed as the first step, not the last.

What You'll Be Doing

Securing paid and free delegate tickets for our trade shows via phone and LinkedIn. Speaking directly with senior stakeholders, government officials, and C\-suite executives. Learning our show formats, industry verticals, and the international events landscape. Working towards clear weekly and monthly targets.

Your Progression Pathways

Sales pathway: Delegate Sales, then SDR booking appointments for the senior sales team, then Sales Executive and Account Manager, then Senior Sales with commission potential in excess of £100,000 per year.

Marketing and Comms pathway: Delegate Sales, then Marketing and Comms Executive covering campaigns, email, LinkedIn, partnerships and content, then Audience Development Manager, then Marketing and Comms Manager running your own show.

Progression is based on performance, not time served.

What We're Looking For

A strong communicator comfortable speaking with senior stakeholders, government officials, and C\-suite executives. You don't need experience, but you do need presence and professionalism. Positive, motivated, and reliable. Open to learning and feedback. Organised and comfortable in a busy office environment. Graduate (any discipline). Must be Bristol\-based.

Salary and Benefits

£26,500 to £28,000 basic salary (dependent on experience). Uncapped commission with realistic year 1 OTE of £36,000 to £38,000\. Top performers in senior roles earn in excess of £100,000\.
