Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high\-quality care and assistance for a young man with Autism and Learning disabilities in his own home. This position requires a strong commitment to enhancing the well\-being of this young man.

Shift Breakdown
- 12\.25 hour day / waking night shifts from 19:45 \- 08:00
- Up to 5 shifts per week
- Provide personal care and support to individual in accordance with their specific needs and preferences.
- Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication management.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the individual's condition to the appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other support workers to ensure a holistic approach to care.
- Uphold the dignity and respect of all individuals at all times, fostering a positive environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Ability to manage challenging behaviours effectively while maintaining a calm and supportive demeanor.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast\-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to care provision is advantageous.
- Previous experience in a support or care role is desirable \- training will be provided.
- Strong knowledge of care practices, including medication administration and meal preparation.
Pay: £12\.98 per hour

- Do you have any experience with MAR charts and administering medication
