Data Scientist

The post holder will contribute to the development of data science, advanced analytics and reproducible

analytical products for EM\-ACE. Working under the supervision of senior data scientists and alongside

analysts, data engineers and operational stakeholders, the role will support problem formulation, data

preparation, exploratory analysis, statistical modelling, visualisation, evaluation and documentation.

The post holder will help create FDP\-aligned, CDM\-aware, reproducible outputs that can be tested locally,

improved iteratively and reused across participating EMAP organisations.

Purpose of the role within EM\-ACE

• Support delivery of high\-impact analytics use cases through practical coding, data analysis,

visualisation and model development.

• Contribute to reproducible analytical pipelines, documentation and shared code libraries that can be

reused across FDP tenants.

• Help convert operational problems into well\-structured analytical questions, working with users to

understand data, context and intended action.

• Build data science capability across the wider analytical community by sharing learning, contributing

to code reviews and supporting training materials.
