We're recruiting for a Data Engineer to join a growing consultancy, delivering production-grade data platforms for some of the UK's leading organisations.
This is a client-facing role where you'll design and build scalable cloud-based data solutions, working with modern technologies including AWS, Databricks and Agentic AI. You'll benefit from structured training, clear career progression and the opportunity to work on complex, enterprise-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities • Design, build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines and cloud-based data platforms.
- Develop robust data architectures and support the full software development lifecycle.
- Build tooling for data ingestion, transformation, orchestration and data quality.
- Work directly with clients to understand requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Explore and apply emerging technologies, including Agentic AI, to improve data engineering processes.
- 2–4 years' experience in Data Engineering.
- Strong skills in Python, SQL and DBT.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Databricks.
- Knowledge of AWS services including S3, Lambda, Glue, RDS and DynamoDB.
- Experience with Terraform or AWS CDK, Git and modern development practices.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A passion for emerging technologies, particularly Agentic AI, and a customer-focused approach.
