Data & AI Delivery Manager
We're looking for a Data \& AI Delivery Manager to join our team in Milan, Italy in a hybrid working mode. You will lead the end\-to\-end delivery of data, analytics and AI programs across our global clients. The role involves orchestrating hybrid teams of human experts and AI agents to deliver scalable, high\-quality data platforms, ensuring solutions align with client strategy, timelines and budgets.
You will work closely with engineering, architecture and business stakeholders to drive modern data capabilities — from ingestion and processing to advanced analytics, machine learning and agentic automation. Your leadership will shape long\-term client partnerships and accelerate digital transformation in industries undergoing rapid change.
Responsibilities
- Lead end\-to\-end delivery of data and analytics solutions
- Govern delivery processes, quality and risk across hybrid human–AI workstreams
- Serve as the primary point of accountability for delivery performance, escalations and scope management
- Provide technical oversight to ensure scalable, secure and future\-proof data architectures
- Build strong client relationships and support pre\-sales, proposals and solution design
- Integrate AI agents into delivery workflows to improve speed, quality and operational efficiency
- Guide teams in modern data engineering practices including batch, streaming, ingestion, storage, processing and consumption
- Proven experience delivering data and analytics projects in complex operational industries
- Strong understanding of data engineering challenges and modern data platform architectures
- Hands\-on familiarity with cloud\-native platforms such as GCP, Databricks, Snowflake and Kafka
- Experience with predictive analytics, machine learning and agentic automation
- Ability to lead hybrid teams and manage multi\-disciplinary stakeholders
- Solid understanding of data security, governance and responsible AI principles
- 5\+ years translating business requirements into analytical platforms and actionable insights
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills, able to distil complex technical and business ideas into understandable terms for all stakeholders and teams
- Ability to forecast and create roadmaps, adjusting with new information and changing business priorities, to achieve programme goals
