Duties

• Develop and implement comprehensive dance lesson plans tailored to different age groups and skill levels, emphasizing technique, creativity, and fun


• Lead energetic dance classes that motivate students to improve their skills, coordination, and confidence


• Demonstrate various dance styles, including hip\-hop, comerical street or other specialized forms as needed


• Provide constructive feedback and personalized coaching to help students progress and achieve their goals


• Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques


• Prepare students for performances, recitals, or competitions by rehearsing routines and ensuring readiness


• Maintain a safe and inclusive environment that promotes respect, teamwork, and enjoyment of dance and to have fun!!!

Qualifications

• Proven experience teaching dance to children or young learners with a strong understanding of physical education principle


• Excellent communication skills to clearly demonstrate techniques and motivate students


• Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and special education needs


• Knowledge of behavior management strategies to foster discipline and focus during classes


• Strong organizational skills for planning lessons, rehearsals, and performances


• Creative writing skills are beneficial for developing engaging class materials or choreography descriptions


• Being reliable
