Lead the Future of Thai Cuisine in Bergen – Piman Skostredet
Are you a hands\-on leader with a true passion for Thai cuisine?
Piman Skostredet, opened the doors in january 2026 and is now looking for a General Manager who thrives in the energy of service, builds strong teams, and knows how to turn great moments into exceptional ones.
You will together with the team be at the heart of a unique restaurant concept in Bergen where authentic Thai flavors meet a modern, vibrant atmosphere.
We are looking for an experienced restaurant leader with a great understanding of Thai cuisine and culture. A leader who knows how to deliver great hospitality and drive results, along with a sharp eye for budgeting and staff cost control.
This is a unique opportunity to influence and further develop Piman as a concept, and to have a key role in shaping both the team and the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant with a strong focus on quality, service, and profitability.
Lead, develop, and support the team to ensure high performance and a positive work environment.
A hands on\- leader who is present in service together with the team.
Deliver exceptional guest experiences and maintain high service standards
Manage staffing, scheduling, and operational planning.
Ensure full compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal control standards.
Take ownership of inventory control, stock management, and efficient ordering routines
Qualifications:
Experience in a leadership role (at least 3\+ years) within the restaurant industry; experience with Thai restaurant concepts is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of Thai cuisine is required.
Strong knowledge of wine, with an understanding of pairing and guest experience.
Ability to understand and communicate the authenticity of the cuisine and the concept.
High work capacity and ability to perform in a fast\-paced, operational environment.
Flexible and fully committed to being present in the restaurant as a hands\-on leader.
Strucutred, solution\-oriented, and confident in leading teams.
Strong communication skills in English are required; Norwegian is a plus.
Working Hours: Evening and weekend work is required.
