We are recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor to join our Glasgow branch.

This role is best suited to applicants with prior experience in an internal sales environment within a supply company in the Oil \& Gas service industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for a customer\-focused professional to become part of a highly regarded technical business operating across a diverse range of industries. Working closely with customers and internal departments, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service, processing enquiries, generating quotations, and ensuring customer requirements are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.

The successful candidate will thrive in a fast\-paced environment, demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills, and be committed to delivering outstanding customer service whilst identifying opportunities to support sales growth.

Essential Experience, Qualifications and Competencies

  • Previous experience within an internal sales, customer service, account management or commercial environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to build effective relationships with customers and colleagues.

  • Good organisational and workload planning skills.

  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.

  • Proactive approach with the ability to use initiative and work effectively as part of a team.

  • Educated to Standard Grade level (or equivalent), including English and Mathematics.
Desirable Experience, Qualifications and Competencies
  • Experience working within an engineering, industrial, manufacturing, oil and gas, or technical product environment.

  • Knowledge of ERP systems.

  • S/NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Customer Service.

  • Familiarity with Hydrasun products and services.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Responding to customer enquiries in a professional and timely manner.

  • Preparing and issuing quotations in accordance with company pricing structures and customer agreements.

  • Processing customer orders through the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

  • Reviewing orders to ensure compliance with quotations and agreed delivery commitments.

  • Liaising with customers regarding order progress, delivery schedules and product availability.

  • Building strong customer relationships and delivering a high standard of customer care.

  • Identifying opportunities to promote additional products, services and solutions.

  • Working closely with internal departments including Purchasing, Stores, Engineering, Workshop, Dispatch and Accounts to ensure customer requirements are met.

  • Supporting the achievement of branch and departmental objectives.

  • Adhering to Hydrasun's Quality and HSE Management Systems and procedures.
