Customer Service Courier Driver

Position:

A customer facing role, collection and delivery to pre\-determined locations in accordance with customer and company procedures, service levels and Protocols. To collect and deliver customer's consignments safely, securely, and punctually, and ensure that all paperwork is completed daily to a high degree of accuracy.

DUTIES \& RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive the company vehicle responsibly and safely; obeying at all times the traffic laws and highway code


• Carry out daily and weekly vehicle checks for all fleet vehicles ensuring any defects found are reported promptly to the Logistics Co\-ordinator


• Arrange and liaise garage/service appointments


• Daily housekeeping of van and fleet cars


• Keep an accurate record of deliveries and collections using consignment notes and job sheets, in line with company policies


• Assist the CSD department with various administrative support tasks on an ad hoc basis


• Assist with the archiving development and movement of case files in a secure manner


• Heavy lifting required on an ad hoc basis


• Ensure equipment on the vehicle is secured and protected where necessary


• Ensure keys, ID cards and mobile phones are kept secure and protected


• Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills in all aspects of the working day


• Represent the company and values of the business and portray a professional and business\-like image to all customers, potential customers and other people you meet in the course of your work


• Flexibility of hours required


• To support staff training/mentoring for new starters


• To support other general administration and ad hoc tasks as required

• Exceptional customer service


• Driving experience in a fast paced environment


• Understanding of safe loading process


• Understanding of the transporting of hazardous goods


• Manual handling awareness

• Professional business disposition and of smart appearance

• Flexibility relating to hours and locations is essential

• A clean driving licence


• Successful security clearance will be required prior to employment commencing

• A minimum of 1 year experience in related working environment is essential.

Salary – £24,683\.85 per annum

Hours – 37 per week

Holidays – 25 days per annum plus statutory holidays
