About Us

For over 20 years, Mail Boxes Etc. London – Ruislip has supported local residents, charities, public organisations and businesses with a comprehensive range of business services, including professional printing, worldwide shipping, expert packing, mailbox and virtual office services, document management and business support.

No two days are ever the same. One day you could be helping a customer prepare an important presentation, the next carefully packing valuable artwork for international shipping, or assisting a growing business with a tailored solution.

We build long\-term relationships by providing exceptional customer service, expert advice and practical solutions that genuinely make a difference.

We Hire Attitude First

Experience is helpful, but attitude is far more important.

We're looking for someone who is reliable, proactive, naturally curious and enjoys learning. We'll provide comprehensive training on our products, services and systems, but we can't teach a positive attitude, strong work ethic or a genuine desire to help people.

Technology is continually evolving, and so are we. We embrace Google Workspace, cloud\-based software and modern AI tools to work smarter, improve communication and deliver an even better customer experience. If you enjoy learning and adapting to new technology, you'll fit in well here.

If you enjoy solving problems, take pride in producing high\-quality work and like every day to be different, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

This is a varied position combining customer service, business support, administration, logistics, print production and sales.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service in person, over the telephone and by email.

  • Understanding customers' needs and recommending the most appropriate products and services.

  • Preparing quotations, proposals, invoices and professional correspondence.

  • Producing print, copy and document services.

  • Booking UK and international shipments and preparing shipping documentation.

  • Professionally packing items for safe national and international transportation.

  • Managing mailbox and virtual office services.

  • Following up enquiries and building long\-term customer relationships.

  • Using modern business software to manage customer orders and daily operations efficiently.

  • Maintaining accurate records and consistently high standards of work.

  • Helping to keep the centre organised, professional and welcoming.
We're Looking For Someone Who...
  • Enjoys helping people and delivering outstanding customer service.

  • Is reliable, trustworthy and punctual.

  • Learns quickly and enjoys developing new skills.

  • Is confident communicating face\-to\-face, over the telephone and in writing.

  • Is organised, practical and able to prioritise competing tasks.

  • Uses initiative and looks for solutions rather than problems.

  • Stays calm under pressure and enjoys a varied workload.

  • Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in producing high\-quality work.

  • Wants to contribute to the continued growth and success of the business.
Essential Requirements
  • GCSE (or equivalent) Grade 4/C or above in English and Maths.

  • Excellent spoken and written English.

  • Confident using computers and cloud\-based software, including Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets and Drive) and Microsoft Office.

  • Comfortable using, or willing to learn, modern AI tools (such as ChatGPT or similar) to improve productivity, communication and customer service.

  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

  • Able to work independently, use initiative and prioritise tasks effectively.

  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

  • Comfortable undertaking light to moderate manual handling, including lifting, packing and moving parcels safely.
Desirable (But Not Essential)

Experience in customer service, administration, logistics, retail, printing, shipping or sales would be advantageous, but full training will be provided.

Experience with Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Photoshop, CRM software, social media platforms or digital marketing would also be beneficial.

Why This Role Is Different

This isn't a typical retail or customer service job.

Every day brings new challenges, new customers and new opportunities to learn. You'll develop valuable skills across customer service, business administration, logistics, print production, sales, AI and modern business technology while making a genuine difference to local businesses and the wider community.

If you're looking for a role where you'll be trusted, challenged and supported to grow, we'd love to hear from you.

What We Offer

  • Training and ongoing professional development.
