We are looking for a proactive and customer\-focused Customer Service Assistant to join our growing team. This role is responsible for managing customer enquiries, processing claims, and acting as the key liaison between our customers and our warehouse operations.

Working closely with our third\-party logistics (3PL) team, you will help resolve delivery issues, process claims efficiently, coordinate order amendments, and ensure customers receive a high level of service throughout their journey with us.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer enquiries via email, and online platforms.

  • Process customer claims relating to damaged, missing, incorrect, or delayed orders.

  • Investigate claims and work with internal teams and our 3PL warehouse provider to reach timely resolutions.

  • Coordinate order amendments, cancellations, and address changes where possible.

  • Liaise with warehouse teams regarding picking, packing, stock availability, and dispatch queries.

  • Track shipments and provide customers with delivery updates.

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and claim outcomes.

  • Escalate complex issues when necessary and follow through to resolution.

  • Support general customer service administration and reporting.

  • Build positive relationships with customers and ensure a high standard of service is maintained.
Skills and ExperienceEssential
  • Previous customer service experience.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.

  • Confident using Microsoft Office and customer management systems.

  • Problem\-solving mindset with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
Desirable
  • Experience handling customer claims or complaints.

  • Knowledge of warehouse, logistics, fulfilment, or 3PL operations.

  • Experience working with order management or ERP systems.

  • Understanding of e\-commerce order fulfilment processes.
