SRA Logistics Limited Trading as InXpress Cheshire, is a fast growing international express and freight company, brokering the services of market leaders in the transportation industry. We are looking for a customer service assistant to join our team.
We are seeking a friendly and professional Part\-time Customer Service Assistant to join our team. The opportunity will be there to increase the hours in the future. It will be a work from home job with the requirement to come to the office for training at the start and any ongoing training. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, handling enquiries efficiently, and supporting administrative tasks. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop communication and analysis skills within a dynamic environment. The position involves engaging with customers via phone and email, ensuring their needs are met with courtesy and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Deal directly with customers by telephone and via email.
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries.
- Handle and resolve customer complaints.
- Pro\-actively contact customers
- Monitor export, import and domestic shipments for parcels and freight
- Process job bookings.
- Communicate opportunities, information or feedback gathered through customer contact to appropriate sales staff.
- Confident telephone manner.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Able to work as part of a team and on solo projects.
- Able to remain professional even when handling unpleasant customers.
- Good IT skills, being competent in Word and Outlook.
- Previous experience of the shipping / logistics industry is an advantage, although not essential as full training will be given.
- Other duties as assigned.
