We are looking for a Customer Service Advisor / Hire Controller to join a busy and successful team in Avonmouth. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a highly operational environment where you'll play a key role in supporting customers, managing enquiries, and ensuring a first-class service experience from start to finish.

The Role

As a Customer Service Advisor, you'll be responsible for managing customer enquiries, processing orders, and ensuring customers receive the best possible service throughout their journey. You'll develop strong relationships with customers, understand their requirements, and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Handling inbound customer enquiries via telephone, email, and online channels


• Managing customer orders from initial enquiry through to completion and follow-up


• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships


• Identifying opportunities to upsell products and services where appropriate


• Providing accurate information and solutions using product knowledge and expertise


• Working closely with colleagues to ensure excellent service delivery


• Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems


• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service levels

About You

We're looking for someone who is customer-focused, proactive, and enjoys working as part of a team.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous experience within a customer service, sales support, or order processing role


• Experience handling inbound enquiries and converting them into successful outcomes


• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills


• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities


• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail


• A collaborative and supportive approach to teamwork


• Confidence in making decisions and using your own initiative


• Good IT skills, including experience with Microsoft Office applications


• A willingness to learn new systems and develop product knowledge

Experience within the hire, rental, construction, or industrial sectors would be advantageous but is not essential.
